Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Scope of Jobs:
  • Assisting with technical superintendent for responsible vessels and compliance with required Regulations.
  • Liaising with various suppliers and service providers for technical issues so as to ensure that the quality of services rendered by suppliers is acceptable.
  • Managing technical vessel operation in the absence of the Technical Superintendent
  • Supervising directly the construction deck crew and the construction subcontractors in the performance of the construction work.
  • Providing data for major machinery failures and any resulting insurance claims.
  • Maintaining the vessels compliance with the international regulations and Company procedures.
  • Ensuring vessels are supplied with spares and stores in a timely order as per company procedures.
  • Participating in safety management system review meetings.
  • Preparing full vessel inspection as per company’s procedures.
  • Preparing dry-docking specifications, and tender documents.
  • Coordinating with crewing on related matters.
  • Preparing monthly report on vessel’s budgeted and actual expenditure and submit/report to Technical Manager on time.
  • Checking all bills for repairs/lub oils/spares/stores and keeping verification of same through shipboard record of supplies/consumption.
  • Ensuring that all forms are filled in correctly and filed onboard/sent to the office.
Requirements:
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Marine), Maritime Studies or equivalent.
  • At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): ship management, international convention regulation, internal audit, ISM code, ISPS code, basic safety, and tankers familiarization, ship management
  • Good Analysis issue and use sound judgment, planning organizing, concern for order, orientation to detail, work efficientl, coordination.
  • Have a good achievement orientation, customer service orientation, continuous improvement, interpersonal relationship.
  • Computer literate.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
