A worldwide renowned logistics company is looking for an aspiring and agile business development professional to join their team as Business Development Manager for Project (EPC, Construction and Industrial).

Our client is a world-renowned logistics company with over decades of presence in Indonesia and providing end-to-end logistics services to customers from all sectors in Indonesia.
 
Description
 
Key responsibilities:
  •     Manages, control and develop all Project (EPC, Construction, Industrial) engagement strategies/activities in the country in accordance with the group business strategy and local business environment to deliver maximum profit and optimize business assets and human resources.
  •     Identify and develop potential, sustainable customer relationships.
  •     Develop and maintain strong relationship with related stakeholders & decision makers.
  •     Respond to customer RFI, RFQ (Request for Information, Request for Quote) and Tenders.
  •     Respond and attend to customer needs/enquiries/complaints.
  •     Lead in engagements and strategic customer interfaces.
  •     Provide customers specific advice/information to line manager to facilitate business performance review & evaluation.
  •     Support line manager to devise, fine tune and implement overall Business Development strategy and directives.
  •     Coordinate with different departments to deliver quality service to customers.
  •     Maintain good communication and working relationship with others functions.
  •     Lead all customer meetings/sales visits (potential and existing) and present company capabilites.
  •     Identify and develop sales leads.
  •     Drive market profiling and customer/competitor research & analysis activities to understand and identify market opportunities and challenges.
  •     Ensure effective pricing strategies are developed to sustain profitable growth.
  •     Responsible for achieving Customer business targets and KPIs.
  •     Defines and implements compliance and standards in line with corporate instructions.
  •     Ensure the development and maintenance of the customer database and its use for identification and segmented targeting of global customers and prospects for the company.
Profile
 
Key requirements:
  •     Working experience in project logistics particularly handling EPC, Construction/Infrastructure, Industrial sector clients.
  •     Strong hunting skills and proven track record to generate new accounts in project logistics.
  •     Solid network portfolio with key government stakeholders/State Owned Enterprises related to EPC, Construction/Infrastructure and Industrial business.
  •     Solid network portfolio with key decision makers at EPC, Construction/Infrastructure and Industrial clients.
  •     Able to work independently and deliver results with minimum supervision.
  •     Able to travel frequently to ensure all projects are delivered safely to the clients' site in remote areas.
  •     Fluent in English
  •     Good negotiator and communicator
