An outstanding opportunity exists for an experienced and dynamic Business Development Executive in Indonesia. You will work closely with newly formed Joint Venture between Toll Group and PT Salam Pacific Indonesia Lines.
Job Responsibilities:
Analysing and identifying target clients based on forwarding’s Global Sales Strategy
Provide ongoing market feedback and evidence of competitor pricing to ensure ongoing competitive pricing
Provide market feedback on product offering and solution design to develop forwarding’s offering to stay ahead of the market
Meet regularly with Line Management to review Sales Pipeline and opportunities and identify where forwarding’s offering and Value Added Services, can be promoted
Ensure a solid understanding of SWOT analysis of key competitors, changes in legislation which impact on the industry, service options and pricing in key trade lanes.
Ensure client visits per week and reported using our Global CRM system
Maintain a personal Sales Pipeline Value and Segmentation
Increment and maximize new business opportunity to their full potential
Develop the agreed product mix between Ocean, Air and Other
Job Requirements:
Degree/Diploma in transportation/logistics/marketing or above
Min. 3 years of relevant working experience in development and client relationship building within the freight Forwarding industry
Min. 1 year experience in selling freight forwarding or related services
Strong understanding of both verbal and written English
Having a driver's license is preferable

With SPIL as the terminal operator in Jakarta and Surabaya, two of the major ports in Indonesia, its domestic strength will complement the broader forwarding and contract logistics capabilities.
