Prominent Multinational Logistics Company is looking for an experienced logistics professional with specialization in handling import and export air freight to join them as Business Development Manager (Air Freight)

Our client is a Prominent Multinational Logistics Company with specialization in freight business.
 
Description
 
Key responsibilities:
  • Provide recommendation, information and coordination for project implementation together with both Commercial and Operations team to ensure effectiveness and efficiency of the deliverance of solution to the customers.
  • Ensure precise forecast of volume projections for clients' requirements.
  • Oversee air freight activities and procedures including the lodgement and retrieval of clients' cargo shipment, then ensure on-time deliverance and transportation of the shipment to the clients.
  • Maintain smooth process to develop company's new business opportunities, ensure healthy revenue stream whilst also minimize cost.
  • Ensure Operations team to comply with security/special handling for certain cargo shipments.
  • Analyze data to monitor performance and plan improvements.
Profile
 
Key requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of working experience in business development related particularly air freight.
  • Extensive contact with airliners/air cargo providers will be a huge advantage.
  • Previous experience in handling operations particularly air freight will be an advantage.
  • Able to effectively manage clients' requirements and deliver result/solution to ensure good customer satisfaction.
  • Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
  • Willing to proactively visit related external stakeholders to ensure smooth process and deliverance (clients, airliners, air cargo providers).
