COST ESTIMATOR (SHIPYARD)

JOB SUMMARY :

Responsible for calculating and prepare financial proposal for ship repair or new building vessel

KEY RESPONSIBILITY :

Develop technical specifications and financial proposal packages using all available resources.
Coordinate job proposal activities including labor, material, and subcontractor pricing. Prepare risk assessments in support of job proposals and/or new business efforts in accordance with company policies and customer requirements.
Compile cost, schedule, and technical elements in the development of proposals in accordance with request for proposal (RFP) specifications.
Researches and analyzes historical data, develop cost models to support proposal efforts.
Responsible for supporting technical and financial data to facilitate the preparation of proposals, to provide support for the contract negotiation process, and to provide budgets for awarded contracts.
Performs ship checks inspection to determine additional work scope information to support of the technical work specification and associated estimate. Travel may be required.

REQUIREMENTS :

Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval Arch. / Civil or structural engineering
2-3 years’ experience in marine or shipyard industry
Familiar with vessel operation and docking process
Possess good analitical thingking, proactive, good leadership and able to work collaboratively
Excellent negotiation skills and proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects and customers
WIlling to be placed in multiple job location : Jakarta & Tanjung Balai Karimun
