Renowned multinational port management company is looking for aspiring and experienced logistics professional to be the think-tank pioneer for their new business development in Indonesia as Country Representative. This is a contract-based employment with 1-2 years of working tenure and will be responsible to help identify business opportunities as well as market research/competitive analysis for starting up their cargo solutions business in Indonesia.

Our client is a renowned multinational port management company with decades of establishments worldwide.

Description

Key responsibilities:

• Proactively collect, collate, monitor and provide latest information and intelligence pertaining to overall Indonesia
  economy, supply chain and container market. Including updates on macroindicators of overall Indonesia
  economy, changes in port policies & regulations, changes in regulatory framework especially foreign investment
  laws.
• Proactively source for potential investment opportunities in Indonesia particularly on sea ports, inland container
  depots, logistics centers/warehouses, digital platform, cargo solutions.
• Define engagement strategies and facilitate the setting up of business meetings with local government
  agencies, potential business partners and relevant supply chain stakeholders. Including government ministries,
  trade associations, port operators/logistics companies/freight forwarders, shippers and consignees/beneficial   
  cargo owners.
• Engage and introduce potential customers (shippers/beneficial cargo owners) to headquarter office.
• Source for sales leads to consolidate with headquarter office, follow up with customers for their orders.
• Ensure all 3rd party contractors to fulfil deliverance according to customers' needs.

Profile

Key requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics industry
• Experience in business development planning/commercial strategy for cargo solutions business will be an
  advantage
• Experience in working with regional-level/global-level stakeholder within the organization will be desirable
• Excellent presentation skill
• Fluent in English
