JOB SUMMARY :
Responsible for ensuring safety in the assigned location and across disciplines for implementation and compliance with safety practices supporting the company’s commitment to safety. Solutions-based assessment and leadership of work in progress to identify the smartest way to safely accomplish the work.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITY :
  1. Create and implement safety standards for both Shipyard workshop and Shipyard office consistently
  2. Establish a periodic schedule of safety training for all employee
  3. Provide patrol-monitoring schedule to oversee all shipyard area
  4. Ensuring all safety equipment/device are well prepared and function properly
  5. Conduct safety audit both quarterly and annually and ensuring all safety program are running
  6. Coordinate with production and repair department for safety campaign and ensuring every repair and new-build vessel are refers and meet to class safety standard
  7. Provide document and paperwork for external Safety Audit
  8. Conduct Safety investigation if there is a work accident
  9. Organize, evaluate and carry out technical analysis regarding the safety condition of shipyard and presented to management
 
REQUIREMENTS :
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Marine Engineering / Naval architect / Industrial Engineering or any relevant major
  • Have experience as HSE Assistant Manager / Supervisor at least 4 years, preferably candidate with same level of experience in shipbuilding industry
  • Solid knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001 and 45001
  • Possess good analytical thinking, proactive, good leadership and able to work collaboratively
  • Willing to be placed in Tanjung Balai Karimun of Riau Island
