Job purpose:
Identify, develop, implement & support cost effective technology solutions, IT policies & procedure for the organization
 
Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities :
  • Oversees the administration and maintenance of the company’s technology infrastructure
  • Support operation effectiveness through IT solutions expertise
  • Investigating availability and suitability of options for new premises
  • Calculating and comparing costs for required goods or services to achieve maximum value for money
  • Planning for IT Strategy in line with strategic business objectives
  • Responding appropriately to emergencies or urgent issues as they arise
  • Manage and coordinate IT Department to accomplish IT Projects
  • Planning routine preventive maintenance on hardware and software
  • Analyzes technology requirements and develops functional specifications. Conducts comparative analysis and competitive bidding when necessary
  • Assists staff in understanding and using technology; conducts regular staff technology presentations and trainings.
  • Develops and maintains technology policies, standards and procedures manual
  • Develops and maintains related technology checklists.
  • Ensures for the availability, continuity and security data and information pertaining to the organization
  • Develop and manage IT Budget and monitors and approves related expenditure
  • Suggests areas for improvement in internal process along with possible solutions
 
Skills, Experience & Qualifications :
  • Computer skills : Adobe Photoshop, Internet Explorer, Microsoft access, Microsoft excel & word, Microsoft outlook, Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft publisher, Microsoft Visio, etc.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret general business periodical, technical procedures or government regulations. Ability to write reports and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers  and the general public
  • Knowledge of and experience with : LANS/WANS; windows server environment; Microsoft SQL Server; Microsoft exchange; Internet Information Services; backup systems, network/workstation peripherals; print servers; firewall; spam & antivirus hardware/software; classic ASP; VBScript, JavaScript, HTML; computer hardware
  • Strong analytical with good judgment and sense of urgency
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to motivate, challenge and delegate
  • 5-8 years of related experiences in MNC exposures
  • Must possess a recognized degree, preferably in a related discipline
