As a business development manager is responsible for building up a client portfolio through attracting new customers and accounts to the RichLand business.
 
Job Scope:
  • Your exact level of responsibility may vary widely, according to your experience and seniority. However, that said, your routine work is likely to include:
  • Identify up new business opportunities 
  • Logistics Cost Modelling 
  • Planning and preparing presentations
  • Establishing and maintaining relationships with prospective clients
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Overseeing the development of marketing literature
  • Administering accounts and writing reports
  • Providing management with market feedback.

Job Requirements:
  • To be stationed in Jakarta.
  • More than 5 years’ experience in the same position of third party logistics services.
  • Degree in any discipline.
  • Extensive ‘hands on’ experience in Logistics Business Solutions, preferably in the area of transport/logistics operations
  • Exposed to MNC environment.
  • Basic computing skills (Microsoft Office - Excel, Sun Systems, ERP, SAP).
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Possess leadership qualities
  • Resourceful & has good initiative
  • Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure & tight deadlines
  • Good business acumen
  • Strong understanding about their market and competitors' products
  • Outstanding communications skills, both writing and verbally
  • High level of self-motivation but able to work as part of a team
  • Good organisational and time-management skills
  • A positive attitude
  • Excellent negotiation skills and persuasiveness
  • Confidence presenting to large groups of people
  • Trustworthiness and discretion when handling confidential information
  • A professional manner
  • To enjoy networking and meeting new people
