Logistics Staff will work alongside the Logistics Manager to support and managing the import lead time in the schedule. Besides that, the Logistics Staff is also responsible in managing all the paper documentation properly and timely, such documents

Our client is a renowned Japanese retail company and has been a market leader in the retail fashion industry in Asia and the rest of the world for decades. The company also has an established offices in many parts of the world and looking to expand their operations in Indonesia.
 
Description
  •        
    • Designing delivery plan with the exporter, the logistics company and other internal divisions, and monitoring progress closely. Checking deliveries from origin port to warehouse, and from warehouse to each store and eliminating unfinished or late deliveries.
  • Planning cost and lead-time reductions and negotiating with the exporter and the logistics company, and monitoring the results after negotiation.
  • Asking the exporter and the logistics company for requests from other internal divisions, and monitoring progress.
  • Checking whether billing of the costs from the logistics company is correct. Retrieving data of logistics, such as inbound and outbound data, and checking and approving invoices.
Profile
  • Knowledge and experience about Indonesia customs regulations and importing documents/process. It is highly evaluated if he/she has dealt with apparel import.
  • Strong passion for logistics, not only import but also warehousing and distribution
  • Working experience of dealing with the logistics company
  • Background in retail business or EC business would be advantage.
  • Good command of written and spoken English.
  • Candidate with foreign language knowledge (Japanese) is preferred
