Ensuring the company transport function operates effectively and efficiently, from end to end. The incumbent is also responsible to conduct planning, therefore candidate with strong leadership and communication skill is highly preferred.

Description
 
We are looking for Logistics Transport Manager with responsibilities as follow:
  • Lead and develop their respective division.
  • Come up with ways to improve team's efficiency and effectiveness
  • Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring logistics operations, such as warehousing, inventory, transportation and supply chain processes.
Profile
 
The successful candidate will have qualities of:
  • Experience in logistics warehousing and distribution, leading and developing logistics team members,with outstanding achievement in various logistics projects.
  • Experience managing a large fleet of assets.
  • Understanding of business process and importance of on time deliver
  • Background in retail business or EC business would be advantage.
  • Knowledge of warehouse, transportation and enterprise software systems
  • applications
  • Ability to understand basic operations process modelling methodologies (SOPs framework) and to structure performance improvement activities (Kaizen)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to create operational dashboards to track and monitor performance
  • Project management experience to drive operational improvement initiatives
  • Passion in logistics and expected to come up with ideas to develop logistics solution
  • English is a MUST
