Job Description & Specification :
  • Receive order from trucking administration and HSE for checking and repair execution.
  • Pre checking of truck kunit to be repaired to ensure its actual conditions for maintenance/repair executions and to issue internal spare parts request (Work Order) for purchasing action as per each truck requirement/identity.
  • Arrange and perform normal service and maintenance of the unit truck fleet.
  • Monitors and order urgent spare parts and consumables items to be further ordered by GA or Purchasing Department.
  • Perform normal repair and maintenance of the truck fleet either as per scheduler unscheduled maintenance to ensure truck readiness for operations.
  • Control and test the repair realization and execution to ensure its good performance.
  • Prepare necessary report of all workshop acitivities related to reapir and maintenance of truck fleet and forklift.
  • Perform normal service and maintenance of company forklift including ordering spare parts for services using internal spare parts request (Work order/Purchase Requisition) issued to purchasing.
  • Control purchase and usage of consumables and fast moving spare parts.
  • Guide and motivate and train the assistant mechanic to do truck repair/service in good order.
  • To establish a simple procedure related to repair and maintenance procedure of truck fleet.
  • Ensure that warranty of purchase spare parts and its life time period is available.
  • Keep update on relevant technical publication in repair and maintenance of trucking product.
  • Ensure the safety conditions of the work shop to avoid incident and or accident at all times.
 
?Requirements :
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Logistic/Transportation or equivalent.
  • At least 5 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
  • Required Skill(s): Diagnostic skill, Work ethic, Problem solving skill, Technical aptitude, A wide array of knowledge, Resourcefulness
  • Preferably Staff (non-management & non-supervisor) specialized in Logistics/Supply Chain or equivalent.
