Description:
  • Provide responsible supervision and control for the Ocean department activities
  • Maintain high level of expertise in all areas of Customs Regulations and other governmental agencies
  • Aggressive negotiation of rates and evaluation on the effectiveness of the ocean carriers
  • Prepare and analyze budgets, expense reports and forecasts for the department
  • Organize the structure to insure excellent customer service and profitability
  • Provide pro-active customer service for all clients handled by the department
  • Promote excellent quality service to our customers & be the best in the business

  • Work with the whole Ocean team to establish business plan & goals to meet the challenges ahead.
Requirements:
  • At least 10 years of related experience in all activities in the same industry
  • Requires written communication skill to compose complex letters regarding shipping problems and proposed resolutions
  • Requires the ability to analyze complex details to resolve complex ocean shipping issues for clients
  • Requires the ability to deal effectively in a high ranking capacity, using tact, diplomacy and negotiation skills
  • Requires extensive contact with carriers, government offices and other parties concerning the import/export process
  • Effective oral communication skills
  • Good leadership skill
