JOB SUMMARY :
The project manager is the person ultimately responsible to the company for the performance of the project, to ensure on time delivery and to achieve or exceed target contribution and margins, while also maintaining quality and a safe working environment.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITY :
  1. Establish a schedule of repairs (docking schedules) or new build for vessels under their responsibility
  2. Coordinate activities of designated ship repair projects to ensure that goals and objectives of the project are accomplished within established time frame and budgeting.
  3. Maintain production schedules, project budgets and expenditures
  4. Must be able to understand the contract, specification and bid package in order to guide the project to its successful completion.
  5. Maintain and ensure the safety and healthy working environment. Meet productivity goals and quality standards as set by management
  6. Manage status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problems
  7. Implement the SOP that is in its work area and periodically make improvements to the work process
 
REQUIREMENTS :
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree, Master's Degree/Post Graduate Degree in Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture
  • Have 7+ years experience in shipyard, especialy manage team for repair and new build unit with 2 years in managerial role
  • Familiar with vessel operation and docking process
  • Solid knowledge for class requirement and goverment regulation related to maritime industry
  • Possess good analytical thinking, proactive, good leadership and able to work collaboratively
  • Willing to be placed in Tanjung Balai Karimun of Riau Island
