JOB SUMMARY
  • Responsible for sales lifting performance
  • Responsible for customer inquiries and providing quality customer services
  • Responsible for handling sales lead, visit, and DDSM
  • Responsible for all customer account and bring in new customer
 
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Handling daily communications (e-mails/mails/calls)
  • Giving sales lead, sales visit and also do telemarketing (sales call)
  • Handling daily customer inquiries for all trade and services, price quotation, space allocation, schedule, transit time and routing
  • Maintain good rapport with customers, and close communication/liaison with import team internally, Port of Loading and HO to ensure full and open dialogue in performing duties assigned
  • Recommend joint visits to target clients with Management and close working coordination with Head Office
  • Monitoring data tracking and booking status
  • Support back office team if any import customer issue i.e DDSM, Repair, TPC and long idle
  • Together with back office team will hold a meeting with customs and hoarding house if necessary
  • Compiling report on visiting, sales leads, actual/loss account, any issue in market/competition
  • Updating customer database and sharing it to Marketing, capture of accurate and complete information of market and sharing it to Marketing to be kept as filing
  • Maintaining and expanding the prospected portfolio
  • Participating fully in training session, meetings, skill building and professional development classes
  • Any other assignment as and when assigned by direct superior
 
JOB SPECIFICATIONS
Minimum Level of Qualification:
  • Minimum 3 years working experience in shipping/forwarding industry
  • Bachelor Degree / University graduated in Marketing, or equivalent, qualified sales achievement especially import activities
Professional Skills:
  • English fluency
  • Excellent presentation and good sales target
  • Customer Network coverage in any industry
  • Knowledge of shipping / forwarding industry
Personal Qualities:
  • Good presentation and pleasant looking
  • Good interpersonal communication
  • Assertive and tactful
  • Highly motivated, result oriented individual
