  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
  • Required language(s): English
  • At least 3 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
     
  • OBJECTIVE
    The primary purpose of the role will be to contribute to continue LEGEND LOGISTICS GROUP, Tank’s Division growth and success through the development and expansion of LEGEND LOGISTICS GROUP commercial enterprises; the exploitation and leverage of Legend Logistics group networks and the identification of new business; whilst also seeking new and innovative ways to generate profitable income for our core business.
     
    RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Open new markets to LEGEND LOGISTICS GROUP.
  • Identify and prioritize ISO Tank emerging territories.
  • Meet and build relationships with customers.
  • Develop intelligence on competitors in the ISO Tank marketplace.
  • Lead in the preparation & negotiation of proposals/tenders/quotations.
  • Nurture innovation to present new ideas, and out of the box thinking to the market
  • Collaborate with senior management to implement marketing and sales strategies and manage marketing budgets
  • Be responsible for increasing Tank’s Division sales within INDONESIA region.
  • Explore relationships with potential customers, assess business opportunities and drive sales to a close.
  • Distributions of policies, rate guidelines, surcharges, specific procedures etc. to legend and its agency network.
  • Travel as required to meet with clients and stakeholders
  • Pro-active in international sales with familiarity with the international marketplace, differences in trade laws and customs.
  • Oversee market exposure of Legend via:
    • Social media and web-presence
    • LEGEND web-site
    • Networking opportunities
    • Events & Conferences
  • Develop market analysis tools to monitor performance
  • Pro-actively work across functions (Management, Operations, Sales, etc.) to develop/manage opportunities.
  • Manage Tank’s Division costs and risks associated with the business development and marketing functions
  • Take full responsibility for Tank’s Division commercial aspects including budgets and profitability.
  • Ensure profitable management of contracts from inception to completion
  • Manage customer payment performance and oversee collections.
  • Provide Complete, Accurate, Reliable and Timely reports to assist in management decisions
  • It is an integral responsibility of the position to adhere to all company OHS&W policies in carrying out the duties of the position.

  • Leadership – the role is a critical senior management role, and requires excellent people management skills
  • Instinctive learner – identifies knowledge gaps and moves quickly to close them
  • Customer Service – Ability to identify needs in client’s business and develop appropriate LEGEND solution/s
  • Excellent Communications Skills – possess negotiation and persuasion skills, ability to interact successfully across cultures
  • Problem analysis and assessment – Understands LEGEND strategic business plan, and all key stakeholders when making decisions
  • Strategic Planning – prior experience dealing with product expansions in Europe market is desirable. To contribute to Legend’s strategic business plan and implement marketing and business development strategies to align with this
  • Time management – is disciplined and meets deadlines consistently
  • Attention to detail – maintains high level of accuracy in all activities, including reports, marketing, proposals, external sales documents and financials
  • Adaptability – Must be able to think on their feet and provide solutions quickly
  • Teamwork and collaboration – liaise with peers regularly and problem solves collaboratively
  • Business acumen – strong commercial acumen to achieve the company’s quotas and an ability to view projects long term and experience in developing and executing marketing 
  • Budgeting – Setting and managing marketing budgets, and ensuring profit level and revenue targets are met and maintained
  • Reporting – to LEGEND Board on all aspects of business development and marketing

  • High level of Marketing Research
  • High Level of Marketing Knowledge
  • Business Degree
