POSITION: Senior Sales Executive
DEPARTMENT: Sales + Marketing
REPORTING TO: National Sales Manager Air + Ocean Indonesia
JOB SUMMARYSales and promotion of Air & Ocean services of P.T. Logwin Air + Ocean Indonesia.
 
 
DETAILED JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 
 
1. Develop new business prospect listings to ensure that future new business development is planned in advance.
2. Responsible to undertake sales calls/visits to win new business.
3. Ensure budgeted and planned sales targets are reviewed and met.
4. Undertake sales presentations to customers and business communities to present the company and its products and services.
5. Identify and penetrate into new market segment or customer base.
6. Manage RFQ’s, tenders and achieve a high success rate in closing deals.
7. Undertake cross selling and up selling within existing customer database to further develop account potential through Air freight, Sea freight, Customs Clearance and value added products.
8. Develop SOP’s for Strategic Accounts with associated internal colleagues where applicable, to detail all processes, rate structure, and capturing of customer identified KPI.
9. Maintain close working relationships with the Customer Service, Operations and Finance team to develop out of the box solutions to support new and existing customers.
10. Maintain and manage the financial aspect of customer under her care and responsible to payment collection within terms agreed with Management (Country Director and Finance Controller).
11. Prepare weekly and quarterly sales reports.
12. Ensure that all sales activities (Sales Visits, Sales Lead) and visit reports are created and maintained via Logwin Customer Relationship Management system.
13. Handle any other duties and responsibilities as and when being assigned from time to time.
 
Candidate’s profile:
  • Graduate degree in Logistics Management, Business Administration or related fields
  • Advanced technical understanding of international air and ocean shipping as well as customs clearance procedures
  • Minimum 3 years professional experience in sales/marketing function at freight forwarding company with demonstrated history of success in winning new customers
  • Minimum 7 years overall relevant professional experience
  • Own car and driving license
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint
  • Fluent in English language, written and oral
