JOB SUMMARY :
The Ship Security Manager is responsible to implement and enforce ship’s security policies. The Security Manager is under the supervision of the Crewing Vice President and Management.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITY :
  1. Reviewing Security via Random Checks / calls to company vessel
  2. Conduct review for attitude check for all sign on crew
  3. Assist recruitment team for all new joining crew to ensure clean background check
  4. Maintaining database on any information on Security & Close communication with the Head of Department
  5. Maintain discipline (check and evaluation) for all vessel crew
  6. Conduct interview for sign off crew to check incompatibility onboard
 
REQUIREMENTS :
  1. Diploma or Bachelor Degree from Maritime Studies, preferably candidate with ANT-1 or ATT-2 Certified
  2. Having experience as Master or Chief Egineer in Oil / Chemical / Gas Tanker
  3. Solid knowledge for safety and rules onboard vessel
  4. Having integrity, Honest, and procedural minded
  5. Proactive with good problem-solving skills, resourceful and able to work towards deadlines with right sense of urgency. Possess good communication and interpersonal skills with outstanding proficiency in English
  6. Able to join within 1-month notice
