The Site Manager is responsible for  the overall performance of the warehouse, lncluding operations, customer service,office operations and IT. The Site Manager plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls all office and warehouse activities. The selection, professional devolopment, and motivation of all warehouse employees are key responsibilities. The Site Manager assists top management in establishing warehouse performance objectives and with strategic planning. He / She are also accountable for  achieving prescnbed company objectives  in regard  to  cost productivity, customer service and profit.
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Plan, direct and implement warehouse operations and administrative support to meet prescribed productivity and service goals
  • Ensure the development of systems and procedures for operating and managing physical facilities,human resources, equipment and product in a profitable manner
  • Participate in company marketing and sales efforts with respect to generating new business.
  • Develop an annual operating budget and manage a system of controls to ensure that service levels and operational performance goals are met within prescribed cost, revenue and profit parameters.
  • Establish efficient distribution set-up and coordination with other KN departments (esp. forwarding)
  • Operate in compliance with federal state and local statutes with special focus on (but not limited to hazardous goods, customs and food storage regulations
  • Initiate structured programs to monitor and improve Quality / Productivity constantly. Manages continues improvement for site together with local KNPS manager
  • Implement effective staff organization and provide leadership
  • Conduct regular staff meetings and ensure efficient team communication
QUALIFICATION:
  • Degree in related field
  • Relevant warehouse process and Warehouse Management  System (WMS)  qualifications
  • Should have over three years of management exper ience in a warehouse environment with P&L responsibility
  • Advanced MS OFFICE knowledge and good know-how of Warehouse Management Systems
  • Proven skill managing and developing warehouse operat ions and develop new business relationships
