Job Purpose :
· Managing the company's supply portfolio ensuring transparency of spending.
· Generating and implementing efficient sourcing and category management strategies.
· Analysing and calculating costs of procurement and suggest methods to decrease expenditure.
Accountabilities & Key Responsibilities :
· Prepare, conduct and lead sourcing/tenders.
· Work with internal and external customers on specification development.
· Conduct market assessment and invite suppliers to quote for business.
· Analyze the supplier’s quotations and select the most promising suppliers to negotiate with.
· Prepare and lead strategic suppliers’ negotiation with local and foreign suppliers.
· Prepare formal contract with appointed supplier.
· Ensure contract of inventory product supply is signed between Havi, supplier and customer.
· Regularly coordinates with customers (SCM) and suppliers to discuss problems, issues and directions to facilitate development of action plans. Discusses action with management for implementation.
· Manages and monitors preparation of the following monthly reports:
· Supplier Performance Report
· Global Purchasing Movement (GPM)
· 12 Weeks Rolling Projection
· Local Packaging Report
· Benchmarking Data
· Spending report of customer supplied items
· Prepares and monitor plans that will achieve department objectives and targets. Conducts studies aimed on improving inventory management.
· Reviews performance of suppliers.
· Reviews periodically pool of accredited suppliers.
· Performs other duties that may be assigned by superiors from time to time.
· Coordinate with Inventory Control and Import team in order to ensure the execution of Purchase order sent to supplier according to agreed contract.
· Communicate with other department ie. Business Development on sourcing process with external customers.
· Sharing the regular report or necessary important to Head of Supply Chain and Head of Business Development.
· Manages regular departmental meetings to review processes, performance and issues.
· Performs other tasks that may be assigned by superior from time to time.
· Reviews, develops and establishes procedures for Sourcing. Ensures procedures (e.g. for purchasing, inventory) are followed as per set cut-offs and requirements.
· Focus on Procurement Categories: Food & Beverage and Packaging for customers
· Ensure effective implementation of Procurement contracts.
· Conduct local & regional supplier management and identify new best in class local suppliers.
· Manage local budgets and contribute to local targets.
Qualifications :
· Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Marketing/Management/Supply chain or any business-related course.
· Certification in related skills is a plus.
· At least 5 years’ experience in Sourcing, Materials Management, Procurement and Inventory Planning.
· Experience in process improvement.
· Strong experience in warehouse management and supply chain.
· Language skills: bilingual – proficient in English & Bahasa.
· IT knowledge & skills: including SAP, Distribution Information and Management System, e-mail, work processing & spreadsheet programs, etc.
· Technical knowledge & skills in warehouse management, inventory planning, control and management and procurement.
· Skills in leading, planning & organizing, delegating, coaching, establishing & maintaining effective working relations, developing policies/procedures related to sourcing, inventory planning, control and procurement and negotiation with suppliers. Can communicate effectively.
· Good interpersonal skills, since a lot of their work revolves around building relationships with customers.
· Thorough knowledge of the technical products that are being served by the company.
· Skills in problem-solving to deal with problems that customers have brought to their attention.
