PT Mersifarma TM, named “Mersi” in short, was established in 1997. The founders of Mersi came from different fields of expertise: health, pharmacy, business, and sosio-economics; and with their pioneering vision and professional expertise, the foundation of Mersi consituted from a strong desire to endeavour in the manufacturing of medicines needed for large segments of the population. Mersi initially focused on manufacturing of medicines to combat Neuro-Psychiatric, Psychosomatic and Mental Health Diseases, but the need for a much large extension and augmentation became apparent. Today other important areas of healthcare are also catered for at Mersi and they include – Internal Medicine, Pulmonary Diseases, Obstetrics-Gynaecology, Neuro-surgery, Ear-Nose and Throat Diseases, Dentistry, and the urgently needed advanced antibiotic therapeutic agents.
