Requirements :
  • Bachelor Degree in any field (in Logistics /  engineering preferred)
  • Good command in English
  • 1 years experience in logistics /  general transportation, warehouse or supply chain
  • 2 years’ management or supervisory experience
  • Experience within a fleet management environment could be a key advantage
  • A thorough knowledge of standard practices utilized in the procurement and acquisition of vehicles and the operation and maintenance of a motor vehicle fleet
  • The ability to assist a superior in the formulation of policies, plans, programs, and objectives connected with the administration of general support services
  • The ability to supervise billing and/or payment systems
  • the ability to prepare clear and concise written reports; and related capacities and abilities.
  • Strong computer skills required
Responsibilities :
  • Ensuring AVP vehicle fleet is managed and maintained in such a manner as to support operations in the most efficient way possible. Creating leadership culture, engaging IC for ownership, drive service level and growth, enforcing compliance and cost management
  • Work within the framework of AVP programme and objective
  • Work closely with AVP Lead for tactical planning and executions of vehicle acquisitions, partnerships, Implementation, deployment and performance monitoring, corrective & preventive solutions.
  • Analyze issues & work closely with AVP Lead,  Hub Management teams, and other related department for corrective & preventive solutions.
  • Assist AVP Lead in enssuirng Alternative Vehicle Program is developed and managed as per objectives area of performance, quality, qualifications and EHS.
  • Venture new source of vehicle unit
  • Create and maintain sustainable and cost effective for Alternative Vehicle Program .
  • Ensuring effective and timely maintenance, servicing and repair of AVP vehicles in order to minimalise down time.
  • Developing, implementing and enforcing vehicle management best practices, policies and procedures.
  • Delivery of training to IC in order to strengthen capacity to delivery and vehicle operation / handling.
  • Conduting and monitor acqusitions of vehicle unit with supplier or vendors (Contracts and PR for vehicle acquisitions).
  • Unit deployment to each required area.
  • Establishing good relationship and coordination with suppliers, interdepartment (hub, fleet and others) and ICs
  • Create sustainable and cost effective AVP fleet management including Hub supply requirement for capacity
  • Offer guidance to contracted drivers on the best ways to maximize their earnings, while delivering a high level of customer service
  • Ensure that all drivers understand and procure the licenses and permits they need to legally to conduct deliveries
  • Ensure that all associated paperwork associated are completed
  • Monitor IC performance in daily / weekly / monthly and generate reports for services, productivity and related cost
