Deskripsi Pekerjaan

Responsible for Floating Loading Facility / Offshore Floating Terminal/ Floating Crane, Tug and Barge maintenance and performance. This is including maintenance of all equipment on board such as conveyor system, crane, main generator set, deck equipment and barge structure .
 
Responsibilities :
  1. Planning, controlling and execution of all activities connected with maintenance, repairs, survey and certificate requirements and dry-docking. 
  2. To prepare technical budget proposal for running cost, dry dock and CAPEX.
  3. Managing the budget vigilantly in line with the market trend and business development.
  4. Review current used of product and practice to achieve equipment efficiency in view of saving cost.
  5. To prepare the work scope for dry docking and estimate cost, controlling the docking cost, repair work quality & specifications in order to meet the standard requirement.
  6. Monitoring of vessel performance trends including speed, fuel and lubricating oil consumptions and to take remedial action where these are outwith agreed or expected parameters. 
  7. Visiting the vessel at regular intervals and reporting on general condition, repairs and maintenance, crew performance, safety, environmental protection and any actions required.
  8. Authorising all necessary order for stores, spares, repairs and survey within limits of authority to ensure that the vessel remains adequately stocked for safe and efficient operation. To obtain the approval from the Management for any unbudgeted expenditure.
  9. Working closely with HSSE Department to ensure that repairs of all reported deficiencies, damages and non-conformities are cleared as quickly as possible.
  10. Assisting HSSE in the investigation of incidents and to establish the root cause and make recommendations to prevent recurrence.
  11. Preparing any Insurance claims and to liaise with Management and underwriters’ representative in processing claims and submissions of allegations.
 
Requirement
  1. Minimum bachelor degree majoring in Naval/Marine Technical Engineering COC Class I / II
  2. Possess extensive skills in Planned Maintenance System
  3. Familiar with ship design, construction and project overview
  4. Ability to formulate and implement technical services and forecast with strategic and technical planning.
  5. Having minimum 5 years experience in  Technical Engineering managerial level and sailing experience as Chief Engineer (dry-bulk cargo).
  6. Good analytical thinking and strong negotiation skills.
  7. Ability to financial and cost budgeting knowledge
  8. Good interpersonal skill or customer oriented
  9. Possess an excellent understanding of commercial and financial matters.
  10. Willing to be based in Samarinda, East  Kalimantan

Today PSS operates the best floating transshipment facility (FLF) which is capable of achieving a loading rate of 40,000 tonnes per day. It is the most reliable tug and barge operator in Kalimantan with tugs and barges of standardized design and specifications, enabling flexible and efficient deployment. PSS also operates some of the most productive Floating Cranes designed to produce an output of 20,000 tonnes per day.
