It is the overall mission of the Warehouse Supervisor is the general responsibility for coordinating and supervising all activities inside the warehouse on a daily basis. Under the direction of the Operations Manager, the Supervisor is responsible for supervising the receiving, warehousing and shipping of products in a manner consistent with company service and cost objectives
 
JOB DESCRIPTION:
  • Create a daily schedule and delegate the tasks to team-leaders / BC
  • Supervising and coordinating unloading of inbound shipments
  • Oversee the picking operation, manage the picking and packing team
  • Picking and staging of outbound shipments in accordance with the highest possible levels of productivity
  • Returns/damage processing
  • Putting information onto the Warehouse stocking system (Ciel FW)
  • Verify required inbound/outbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted.
  • Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
  • Ensure the efficient and safe operation of all materials handling equipment (Weekly Checklist for Forklifts)
  • Ensure that the work schedules are correctly implemented and that jobs are assigned effectively and completed properly.
  • Rotate products as appropriate
  • Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area (Weekly Warehouse Checklist)
  • Assist in maintaining the security of the warehouse (Weekly Safety Inspection in warehouse)
  • Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety security (Security Coordinator)
  • Complete all necessary records and reports in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Assure the integrity of the inventory and assist in conducting physical inventories.
  • Taking precautions to protect warehouse contents against loss
  • Leading and controlling activities of warehouse personnel
  • Optimize space usage by re-arranging products and entering the changes into CFW
  • Fill all tasks into the provided productivity tools with correct details and minutes
  • Analyze yesterday’s achievements with the complete team (Team-Meeting) on a daily basis.
  • Point out possible improvements ==>Optimize processes together with the Operations Manager
  • Point out potential risks for the future warehouse operation
  • Coordinate the inbound container transport as per schedule.
  • Analyze future resource needs and discuss the same with Operations Manager
  • Reviews the performance of Warehouse staff, identifies high-potential people
  • Ensure compliance with Quality Safety Health Environment policies and requirements.
 
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Degree in related field
  • Relevant warehouse process and Warehouse Management System (WMS) qualifications
  • Should have more than 1 year experience in a warehouse supervision
  • Advanced MS OFFICE knowledge and good know-how of Warehouse Management Systems 
  • Good understanding of warehouse process
  • Is trained on the do's and don'ts of the processes related to the own department
  • Is aware and ensure compliance of  General Safety  Guidelines in the Warehouse                                   
  • Is aware and   ensures compliance to the fire safety rules  of the warehouse                                             
  • Is aware and ensure compliance to the  security procedures of the Warehouse                                         
  • Is aware of the incident reporting procedure  for any Health and Safety violation  in the warehouse       
  • Is aware of the First Aid rules for the site
