The Branch Manager take responsibility for ensuring that goods get where they need to be in an efficient manner. To this end, much of their job involves keeping track of timetables and costs. They are responsible for the day-to-day operations of the branch, as well as expected to be strategic planners involved in helping the branch progress.

Description
  • Full P & L responsibility for branch and ensure branch delivers to agreed budget;
  • Ensure operational compliance with industry and internal DGF policies and standards;
  • Participating in customer solutions development and implementation of new accounts;
  • Ensure branch is optimal resourced to meet service standards;
  • Visit customers to maintain customer relationships, research customer needs and monitor customer satisfaction;
  • Maintain relationships with suppliers and manage supplier performance
Profile
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and a demonstrated ability to use own initiative;
  • Bachelor degree from well accredited university
  • High level of attention to detail;
  • Willingness to work on week-ends;
  • Interpersonal skills;
  • Financial Management;
