Main Responsibilities:
  • Interface with major, medium and small size customers to resolve credit and billing problems.
  • Handle complaints from Customers related to outstanding, do reconciliation, investigate and draft suitable replies and ensure improvements are implemented to address problem areas.
  • Work together with billing team for special invoice arrangement
  • Work together with query handling to ensure that billing dispute are solved in timely manner Ensure that credit terms offered by the Sales Team are aligned to company policy.
  • Ensure implementation and compliance of credit and billing policies and procedures.
  • Analyse and review collection trends to provide accurate forecast.
  • Review unapplied payment for posting to accurate outstanding
  • Maintain efficient records of collection activities.
  • Initiate credit suspension for delinquent accounts so as to minimise bad debt expenses in consultation with the Credit Control & Collection Manager.
  • Ensure the timely dispatch of reminder letters.
  • Participate in systems development for Account Receivables and Billing.
  • Build up comprehensive credit data on Customers and provide feedback to Management.
  • Develop a high performance service culture within the functional department.
  • Plan, organize and direct and efficient and effective functional department.
  • Develop IKOs/KPIs with team members and monitor individual performance.
  • Consult performance appraisal.
  • Manage the allocation of appropriate resources and commitment of staff to the achievement of Global, Regional and Country objectives and targets.
  • Identify training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department.
 
Requirements:
  • Minimal Bachelor Degree with related discipline
  • Numerical skills.
  • Software skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Communication skills (English and local language), spoken and written.
  • Credit analysis and debt collection skills.
  • Legal skills (preferable)
  • Financial accounting knowledge (preferable)
  • 3-5 years relevant experience preferably in the Express or Logistics industry.
  • 1-2 years supervisory experience (preferable).
