The role
Objective: Designing, developing, implementing and managing the AVP recruitment strategy, focusing on sourcing a new breed of Independent Contractors who will be the next generation of delivery couriers for the LEX Last Mile
Enablers:
  1. Designing and developing Recruitment Strategies of independent contractors for the Alternative Vehicle Program focusing on:
    1. Alternative sources of sourcing and pooling candidates such as social media and partnerships with Universities for fresh graduates
    2. New criteria which is inclined to youthful, entrepreneurial traits and characteristics
  2. Implementing and managing the AVP recruitment process
    1. Recruiter score card
    2. IC pipeline
    3. IC turn over rate
    4. IC on time deployment to hubs
  3. Develop on boarding training materials for the new breed of AVP ICs
 
 
 
Activities:
 
Planning
  1. Establish new recruitment strategy utilizing new sourcing capability via technology and social media
  2. Establiseh partnerships with Universities and Colleges for recruitment road shows
  3. Establish communication and coordination with legal in terms of IC contracting requirements
  4. Establish communication, coordination and tactical planning with hubs for IC deployment requirements
  5. Establish the basic on boarding tool pack for last mile IC’s
 
 
Reporting
  1. Track IC pooling and interview count on a daily, weekly and monthly basis to ensure health of active pipeline of AVP ICs
  2. Track monthly fleet recruiter efficiency and performance
  3. Track monthly IC turn over rate 30 days after deployment to hubs – turn over KPI is <5% 45 days after deployment
  4. Monthly and Quarterly report of pipeline number for AVP deployment
  5. Monthly and Quarterly report of # of AVP IC’s who have under gone Ops Immersion Training
Analyzing
  1. Analyze issues related to turn over and poor performance of AVP ICs
  2. Training needs analysis for AVP ICs
Optimizing
  1. Optimize deployment plan for quick and seamless deployment to hubs
  2. Optimize over all recruitment process (from interview to deployment lead time) focusing highly on the use of technology and proper SOPs.
