Position:  Sales Manager (Distribution Channel)
 
The key responsibilities of the SM will be to manage key partner accounts and develop strategic customer business plans that will drive sales growth. The incumbent will maintain an accurate and healthy sales forecast over a 12-month.

This will be achieved by having a holistic understanding of market trends, a solid relationship with key partner accounts and executing trade initiatives to optimize sales opportunities. Your specific tasks include
 
Responsibilities:
  • Develop, maintain and leverage relationships with key retailers
  • Participate in joint business planning, promotion and assortment planning
  • Negotiate and manage trading terms and contracts with clients
  • Assess capability of distributors team in key account management, marketing & operations and ensure intervention to strengthen capability for execution 
  • Identify new market and growth potential
  • Conducting regular market visit and sales analytics
  • Working closely with the marketing team on Trade Marketing activities
  • Plan and execute well-defined sales strategies to achieve targets
  • Planning forecast order with line manager
 
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5-8 years’ experience in distribution of lifestyle stationery brands
  • Strong key account management skillset with excellent business acumen & hunger for excellence
  • Self-starter who takes responsibility to deliver business results
  • Exposure to brand & trade marketing would be ideal
  • Possess own vehicle
  • Possess a positive attitude with strong resilience, commitment, responsibility and working etiquette
  • Good communication skills and strong drive to succeed
  • Must be resourceful and sales oriented
